Nancy France Scholarship Fund
College of Humanities and Social Sciences
To help students financially who want to study at the University of Nancy, France. During the spring semester of each academic year the scholarship program will be announced. A French competition will be organized, in the tradition of the French 'concours' system. The students participating in this essay contest must be atleast at the intermediate level; beginning students cannot participate. The winner or winners will be selected by a jury composed of faculty members of the French department. The decision of the judges will be final. The winner or winners, depending on the financial resources of the fund at the time, will recieve a free one-way trip to Nancy in order to participate in the summer program. The value of the prize is roughly $250, but can only be applied to airfare to the Nancy Summer Program.
