IUP Libraries and the Writing Center Host Research Writing Party

On Thursday, October 21, from 1:00-4:00 p.m., the IUP Libraries and Jones White Writing Center are hosting a Research Writing Party with tutorials, writing support, and information about research writing.

Hip-Hop Culture and Social Responsibility in the Age of COVID

Ralph E. Godbolt will present on the history and impact of hip-hop culture on social justice movements within the United States and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on African American and Hispanic Communities. The presentation will be given via Zoom, on October 21, 2021, from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

University Archives Awarded Digitization Grant for African American Oral History Collection

IUP Libraries Special Collections and University Archives was awarded a grant from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museums Commission to digitize oral history interviews.

Diversity Speaker Series to Feature Global Consultant

Nuria Diallo Padro, a bilingual global consultant specializing in strategic management and empowerment strategies, will speak Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in B10 Leonard Hall and via Zoom as part of the IUP Libraries Diversity Speaker Series.
