To memorialize Professors Edward D. Wilson and James D. L. Byrnes by supporting projects and activities in which they would have been interested: academic, service and internship awards honoring outstanding graduate and undergraduate students; hosting visiting distinguished lecturers; encouraging and funding graduate and undergraduate participation in professional conferences; departmental membership in professional and honorary organizations; scholarships for students in Political Science Department; video cassettes, video discs and/or supplies for creation of such video products.
