The Writing Center offers students the opportunity to attend Wednesday Workshops, which are workshops open to all students on campus and are held on Wednesdays throughout the semester at 7:00 p.m. in 210 Stabley Library and via Zoom.
IUP is hosting a mathematics education conference for elementary, middle, and secondary teachers on the IUP campus. Student volunteers will direct participants to the locations of the various sessions.
For the past 10 summers, IUP faculty member Jonathan Warnock has been traveling to the Utah desert to dig up dinosaur bones at Jurassic National Monument. He often brings students along to help them gain research experience.
Bryna Siegel Finer, director of Undergraduate Writing Programs, published a new book, "Patients Making Meaning: Theorizing Sources of Information and Forms of Support in Women's Health," co-authored with Cathryn Molloy (University of Delaware) and Jamie White-Farnham (University of Wisconsin–Superior).
