The University College is an interdisciplinary, collaborative academic unit that offers student-centered academic programs and services that enhance students’ success.

Our richly diverse population of students includes traditional and adult learners seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills through credit, non-credit, and continuing education programs; high school dual enrollment students experiencing college for the first time; and students who are pursuing a graduate degree who want to work for a college or university after graduation.

The University College coordinates existing university resources and develops new initiatives to promote academic excellence and enhance student retention and persistence. Our programs and services focus on assisting students with developing the knowledge and skills needed for success in the collegiate environment and the world beyond IUP.

As a hub for academic success, the University College houses Academic Enrichment Programs, the ACT 101 grant, the Advising Center, the Career and Professional Development Center, Disability Access and Advising, the Kathleen Jones Writing Center, the IUP Navigators, Student Outreach and Advocacy, Student Transition and Support, and the Title III Program.
