To provide supplemental monies for activites related to creative writing at IUP. These may include (1) Support for visiting artists, (2) building a library of small literary magazines, (3) purchase of video and audio materials related to creative writing, (4) providing opportunitites for approproate students to attend readings, workshops, and conferences, (5) annual creative writing awards, (6) occasional publication of poetry broadsides, and (7) possible scholarships and awards should sufficient money be available.
