Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Library Fund

The Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Library Fund shall provide for two distinct programs within the IUP Libraries. They are the Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Book Collection and the Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Speakers Series. The Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Book Collection will acquire popular and current reading materials to be readily available and enjoyed by the University community. The collection will be identified by a bookplate to recognize the late Mrs. Schafer's generosity to her alma mater. The Mary Jane Schafer Memorial Speaker Series will bring writers and researchers to campus to discuss their personal works or literary topics of interest as well as individuals who have a passionate interest in literature and libraries.
