Donald J. Ballas Fund for the Enhancement of Programs and Research in the Department of Geography, Geology, Environment, and Planning (Geography and Regional Planning)

The purpose of the fund shall include support for two areas of academic endeavor that enhance the academic programs of the Department and advance the field of geography. These two programs will be known as: the Donald J. Ballas Memorial Speaker Series, which will provide honoraria and/or travel funds for speakers invited to the Department; and the Donald J. Ballas Memorial Research Fund which will provide funding to support the preparation of academic manuscripts for submission to journals or for publication of books.
