Suzy Teele has more than 20 years of experience in business strategy, product management, marketing, and business development. She is currently the chief marketing officer of Fi360. She is also the founder and former managing partner of Aceda, a management consulting firm that provides companies across the United States with interim executives and consulting services for sales, marketing, and business development.
Prior to forming Aceda, Teele was an executive at several software companies. She was COO at SnapRetail, a Pittsburgh-based start-up that provides digital marketing solutions for small retailers. She served as president and COO of Matrix Solutions, a Pittsburgh-based company that is the leading provider of sales analytics software for media companies. Teele was also senior vice president of Marketing at ServiceWare, Inc. (now Consona), which provides knowledge bases and software for customer support organizations. In addition, during her eight years at Legent Corporation (now CA Technologies), Teele held a variety of executive roles, including vice president of human resources and general manager of a $220-million software division.
Teele has been recognized as an IUP Distinguished Alumni and has been inducted into the Eberly College Hall of Fame. She is former president of the Alumni Association and was the 2013 spring Commencement speaker. Other accolades include selection as one of five finalists for the Greater Pittsburgh Athena Award and recognition as a Pittsburgh Technology leader. A native of the greater Pittsburgh area, Suzy also volunteers her time to teaching and mentoring entrepreneurs in the Pittsburgh region and serving on the board of PowerLink, which provides advisory services to women-owned businesses.
Teele graduated with a business degree from IUP in 1982, majoring in management information systems.
