Information Systems Director

John Salava is an established technology professional with over 23 years of experience. He currently holds the title of information systems director for ABB, Inc, a Fortune 50 company which specializes in automation and power technologies and supports a global workforce of over 160,000 employees. In his current role with ABB, Mr. Salava is responsible for all information systems functions for the Power Systems Division in North America.
Mr. Salava has held prior positions as vice president of Information Systems for the Pittsburgh Technology Council and vice president and chief information officer for Campus Dimensions, Inc. He has consulted with many of the top companies in Western Pennsylvania regarding technology planning and has served on several statewide technology committees seeking to bring technology-based business expansion to a larger segment of the business community.
He is member of the Pittsburgh CIO Group and is also involved in many local charity and community based events. He currently resides in Delmont, Pa. with his wife, Leanne, and two children, Megan and Josh.
