Thomas J. Costa is the chief executive officer of ShowClix, Inc., where he is responsible for execution of the operating model, finance, software engineering, and corporate governance.

Tom graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems. He began his career as a systems engineer and systems analyst with Pittsburgh-based Gulf Oil Corporation.

In 1983, Tom founded Monterey Microsystems and grew the company to more than $30 million in annual revenue and 100 employees. In 1990, he sold the company to Intelligent Electronics, a publicly traded company, where he went on to serve as executive vice president. In this role, he was responsible for 25 branch locations, 500 employees, and a $900 million revenue budget.

In 1997, Tom founded Integration Partners and, in 1999, sold the company to MicroAge, a publicly traded company. From 2000 to 2004, he served as senior vice president for FullTilt Solutions, a Philadelphia-based company. Tom was part of the senior leadership team that grew the services division of the company and sold it to CIBER, Inc.

He joined Landslide, a CRM software company, at inception in 2004 as an investor and as president and chief operating officer. In this role, he guided the company through $17 million in capitalization (Series A and Series B financing and venture debt) and commercialization of offering. Tom was responsible for development and execution of the operating plan, including sales, marketing, finance, engineering, administration, and customer care.

He is a member of the Business Advisory Council for the Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at IUP and a mentor for the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence at the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Tom was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by IUP in 1999.

Tom is a former Golden Gloves boxing champion. He resides in Murrysville with his wife, Susan. Tom and Susan have two sons, Tommy and Louis.

In his spare time, Tom enjoys golf, cycling, and fly-fishing the trout streams of Western Pennsylvania.
