In her current role at S&T she oversees all aspects of the company's auditing function, including the strategic direction of the audit practice. Additionally, LaDawn has recently expanded her responsibilities to serve as assistant secretary under the direction of the secretary to broaden her exposure to governance related matters and provide opportunities to work with additional members of S&T's board of directors.

LaDawn was formerly an audit senior manager at Ernst & Young, LLP where she had a career-long focus in the financial services industry and contributed to various initiatives such as serving as the professional women's diversity champion, assurance quality reviewer, and author/instructor for various firm-sponsored national training courses. Prior to joining S&T in May 2009, she was a vice president/financial manager for the PNC Financial Services Group primarily responsible for managing the overall performance of the annual SOX financial control evaluation.

She is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance. LaDawn is a certified public accountant and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance designation.

She enjoys mentoring young professionals and often meets with college students to share her career path and lessons learned. She also sponsors two young professional "women of promise" for future leadership through the United Way's Women's Leadership Council TOGETHER (to get her) Leading program, where she serves as a role model for the next generation.

She is committed to actively serving her community through volunteer efforts such as the United Way, where she is a member of the Southwestern United Way Women's Leadership Council Executive Committee, Campaign Cabinet member, supports local senior citizens through Open Your Heart to a Senior, and annually coordinates a team of S&T employees to volunteer and support the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania's Day of Caring.

Under LaDawn's leadership on the Institute of Internal Auditors Pittsburgh Board of Governors, where she serves as the Advocacy Committee chairperson, she formed the Internal Audit Education Partnership Advisory Board to further advance the awareness of the internal auditing profession. She is committed to engaging with colleges and universities to heighten the stature of a career in internal auditing, including internal auditing as part of the curriculum, and moving the profession forward.

LaDawn also serves on the PICPA Southwestern Chapter executive board as a past president and on a statewide PICPA Professional Ethics Committee. She is a member of the Ernst & Young Pittsburgh Alumni Council, board member for the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown Accounting Alumni Association, and a member of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania Eberly College Business and Information Technology Advisory Council.

LaDawn was awarded the Champion for Women Award from the Pennsylvania Bankers Association. This award is given to a seasoned professional who, through personal commitment, application, and dedication, is invested in the success of others and fosters growth to ensure women maximize their potential. She is also a recipient of the PICPA Southwestern Chapter Volunteer Award for her contributions to the chapter and community. Additionally, LaDawn was honored as one of the PA Business Central's Women Making a Difference.

LaDawn enjoys spending time with her husband, Doug, and their German Shorthaired Pointer, Aubie, named after their favorite college football team, Auburn University. They can often be found walking nature trails or participating in races.
