Jason McKenna is the global head of Human Resources for Philips Respironics, where he is responsible for the design and implementation of the human resources strategy with a focus on developing enabling strategies to respond to changing business needs. He also serves as a global strategic business partner on the executive leadership team to identify and address key business challenges and bring talent management expertise and capabilities to strategic decisions and initiatives.

Jason received a United States Army Officer commission and graduated as a distinguished military graduate in 1996 through the ROTC program at the University of Central Florida. Upon completion of the United States Army Flight School, Jason was assigned to the 229th Attack Helicopter Regiment at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. During this assignment, he served as an attack helicopter platoon leader, headquarters and Headquarters Company executive officer, and regiment assistant operations officer. Upon completion of his tour at Fort Bragg, he served a tour in the 2nd Infantry Division, Republic of Korea, as the assistant G-3 (Air). After his tour in Korea, he served as the company commander of Alpha Company, 34th Infantry Regiment, and ended his career in the military with the rank of major and as an assistant professor of Military Science at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Upon completion of his military career and completion of a Master of Arts Degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2005), Jason was hired by Highmark, Inc. (Blue Cross/Blue Shield). He held numerous positions at Highmark ranging from leadership and career development consultant, HR consultant, manager - HR Strategy and Program Management, and director, HR Administration. He transitioned to Philips in January 2013.

In addition to his master's degree, Jason holds the senior professional in human resources certification, SHRM senior certified professional certification, master's certificate in project management from the University of Pittsburgh, Katz School of Business, and is certified as an executive coach.
