The dispatch share contains files from several reporting services. When a user utilizes one of these services, a folder is created that only that user can access. These reporting services are listed at the bottom of this page.

To access your Dispatch Share Folder, you will need to connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) or log in to a Virtual Computer Lab (VCL) session before you can access the dispatch share.

There are two methods to access your Dispatch Share Folder. Where you see USERNAME, replace that with your IUP username.

  • The first method is via a web browser. In your browser, enter: https://dispatch.iup.edu/USERNAME
  • The second method is by mapping a drive to the Dispatch network share. The folder paths for mapping a drive are:
    • PC Users: \\its.iup.edu\share\dispatch\USERNAME
    • MAC Users: smb://its.iup.edu/share/dispatch/USERNAME
  • If you are not connected to the VPN or logged into a VCL session when you are off campus, you will receive this error:403 - Forbidden: Access is denied. You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

When accessing this share from the VPN, you will be prompted for your username and password. Enter your username in this format: IUPMSD\username substituting your username. For the password, enter your IUP network password.

See the How to Map the Standard IUP Network Drives page for information on mapping drives.
