Student Makerspace – Exclusively for IUP students, providing a dedicated space to explore, build, and create.

Regular workshops offer skill-building in creative problem-solving, design, and tool use. Get the skills you need to be a maker. No experience is required.

Facilities
IUP Students—you are already STEAMSHOP members. Schedule your certification training and you will be able to independently begin using STEAMSHOP equipment. You also get a discount on workshops offered and purchase stocked materials at cost! Local Businesses and Community Members—you can become a STEAMSHOP member. Purchasing a membership gives you access to equipment and discount pricing for workshops. Memberships are paid month-to-month and can be canceled at any time.
Using the Space
Our space is open to IUP students, faculty, and staff, as well as businesses and community members.
