Colleges
John J. and Char Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics
We change lives through science and math. Our graduates change the world as educators, scientists, and leaders.
Humanities and Social Sciences
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is the intellectual heart of IUP. A liberal arts education provides a solid foundation for a satisfying career, and that’s what the College offers you.
Health and Human Services
The College of Health and Human Services includes a diverse group of applied disciplines. The college is the largest at IUP with more than 4,000 students enrolled in nine departments.

Registrar
The Office of the Registrar provides scheduling, record keeping, and registration services for the university.
IT Services
IT Services provides technology support to students, faculty and support staff for the centralized computing environment at IUP through the IT Support Center.
International Education
The Office of International Education serves as an umbrella for the university’s many international initiatives, programs, and events.
Extended Studies
The Office of Extended Studies at IUP will help you to achieve your educational goals. Our mission is to support our community and provide the professional training and adult enrichment courses that you need.
Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center at IUP connects students with curricular, cocurricular, and other support services that promote student success and well-being.
Programs
ROTC
The Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps teaches students leadership and management skills that help prepare them for successful careers—in the US Army or in civilian life.
Women’s and Gender Studies
The Women’s and Gender Studies minor is designed to increase the students’ interdisciplinary knowledge about the gendered nature of women’s experiences and the ways that gender, sexuality, and other identities shape and are shaped by history, culture, and society in today’s challenging, diverse, and complex world.
Liberal Studies
All students must fulfill the requirements of the university’s Liberal Studies program.

Writing Across the Curriculum
The Writing Across the Curriculum program provides support for faculty universitywide in implementing writing into their courses. The program aims to create and sustain a community of writers at IUP.
Teaching Excellence
The Center for Teaching Excellence seeks to provide constructive and developmental mechanisms for nurturing the excellence in teaching which already exists at IUP.
American Language Institute
The American Language Institute offers full-time, noncredit programs of intensive English for international students and visitors.

The Academic Computing Policy Advisory Committee recommends policy related to technology in support of the academic mission.

Marketing and Communications
The Marketing and Communications Division uses its expertise in various communications specialties to assist with delivering messages to audiences using best practices and strategies.
University Advancement
The University Advancement Division builds long-term voluntary relationships between IUP and its constituencies in order to stimulate greater understanding and support.
Student Affairs
The Division of Student Affairs promotes and enhances student success and personal development by collaboratively and strategically creating and leading programs and services, which advocate for and respond to the broad spectrum of student needs, interests, and aspirations.
Administration and Finance
Our employees serve in roles including maintaining IUP facilities and grounds, ensuring campus safety, handling student billing, and managing the university payroll.
President
Michael Driscoll is the president of IUP. He started in this role July 1, 2012.
Enrollment Management
The Division of Enrollment Management includes the offices of Undergraduate Admissions, Culinary Arts Admissions, Graduate Admissions, Career and Professional Development, and Financial Aid. These departments represent the full continuum of enrollment management, from recruitment, matriculation, retention, and graduation through the pursuit of professional goals.
