"I am originally from Toledo, Ohio. It was never in my plan at the beginning of my college career to attend IUP. I started my freshman year of college at Chicago State University, but, because of athletic and academic adversities, I decided to transfer. Through the recruiting process, I came on a visit to IUP and I left with a great feeling about the university. I really liked the campus and the facilities that IUP offered. I also loved the fact that IUP has one of the best business schools in all of Pennsylvania. I am truly blessed and honored to have received a scholarship offer at IUP, and it was an opportunity that I could not pass up on.
"Through being on the men's basketball team and a part of the student body at IUP, I have not only learned life skills that I will be able to apply, but I have also created lifelong relationships that I will always be able to utilize. Over the last three years at IUP, I was pushed to get out of my comfort zone academically and athletically which helped me grow tremendously.
"I am so thankful for everything IUP has done for me. I will never forget about all the hard work that I have put in while in college. But the hard work does not stop as I begin my next chapter on the road to success and greatness."
