Anchor links (also called jump links, bookmarks, or skip links) allow you to link to a particular spot within the same page or a different page.

To create an anchor link:

  1. Anchor link iconPlace your cursor at the spot where you'd like your destination anchor to appear and click the Anchor button in the toolbar.
  2. Enter a unique ID for your anchor and click OK. The ID cannot have any blank spaces.
    • Note: Remember this ID or copy it somewhere; you'll need it for the next steps.
  3. If the anchor isn't on the same page as the anchor link, then submit this page and edit the page that will link to the anchor.
  4. Highlight the text that will be the link.
  5. Use the Insert/Edit link button in the toolbar to create an "Internal" link.
  6. Use the page chooser to browse for the page containing your anchor. For anchors within the same page, this will be the current page. Select the page and click Choose.
  7. In the Anchor field, type or paste the exact ID you used when creating the destination anchor. This will append the anchor ID to the end of the link's URL.
  8. Preview the page and check the link. If it works, submit the page.
