The Office of University Operations and Administrative Services is charged with the development and oversight of operating guidelines. It is also responsible for the efficient administration, development, and growth of essential, existing, and new business- and hospitality-related services to support IUP students, faculty, and staff.

Sexual Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy

IUP is committed to providing a safe and positive living, learning, and work environment that is free from sexual discrimination and other prohibited sexual misconduct. The Sexual Discrimination and Sexual Misconduct Policy provides definitions and reporting and complaint resolution procedures. It is applicable to all students and employees of the University, as well as designated volunteers, contractors, and vendors. 

Right-to-Know

The Pennsylvania Right to Know Law (“Right to Know Law” or “Act”) provides that every public Record of a Commonwealth agency shall, at reasonable times, be open for examination and inspection.

Protection of Minors Policy

Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) is dedicated to promoting the safety and security of minors who visit its campus or participate in its programs.

Inclement Weather Policy and Procedures

Indiana University of Pennsylvania is committed to the safety and security of its students, faculty, staff, and visitors. As such, the decision of whether the university should close or remain open is based on the overall concern for the university community.

Guidelines and Procedures for Requesting Facility Use

The following entities are currently included within the office:

Campus Space and Reservations
Campus Space and Reservations is the one stop for all your guidelines, procedures for requesting facility use, location availability, posting of signage, safety forms for campus events, and how to complete work orders.

Card and Vending Services
I-Cards have long been a convenience for IUP students, combining security, vending, banking, meal plans, and more—all in one card. At orientation, each new student is issued an I-Card.

Conference Services
IUP can help your business or organization plan its next meeting or seminar. The professional staff of the Office of Conference Services will assist you in planning and implementing your event.

Facilities Planning and Construction
The Facilities Planning and Construction group serves as the university's facilities planning, design, and contracting organization for major maintenance, renovation, and construction of new buildings and facilities on campus.

Facilities Management
Facilities Management is the administrative organization responsible for the stewardship of the university's physical assets. The office cares for the daily operations of more than 75 major buildings and multiple infrastructures of the main campus as well as the Punxsutawney and Northpointe campuses.

Facilities Operations
The Facilities Operations group has the responsibility for maintaining and repairing the physical facilities and mechanical systems of the university in a cost-effective manner.

Hilton Garden Inn at IUP
Located on the IUP campus and adjacent to the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex, the Hilton Garden Inn hotel is within walking distance of university events and downtown Indiana.

Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex

Parking and Transportation Services
The Parking Services and Visitor Center offers information on parking rules and regulations, parking permits, and parking availability. We are open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and closed on holidays.

Postal Services
The IUP Post Office is a contract station of the United States Postal Service. Our goal is to provide resources for first class mail services and shipping and receiving of packages for university students, faculty, and staff.

Printing Services
The Printing Center provides offset printing and copying solutions for the university community. Our services include one-color, multiple and four-color offset reproduction, color copying, Xerox duplication, variable data printing, and wide format and banner printing, plus a wide variety of bindery functions.

Second Community Input Session Set for IUP Long-Range Facilities Master Plan Update Process

A special session for members of the community to provide additional input on Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s long-range facilities master plan update is scheduled for September 26 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex’s PNC Room.

One-Stop-Shop for Campus Space and Reservations

IUP employees and students can now use 25Live Pro to request available space for IUP academic and non academic events.  This service will allow IUP to monitor the “people footprint” for the safety of the IUP community.

IUP to Host 2020 PIAA Southwest AA Regional Wrestling Tournament at Kovalchick Complex

Indiana University of Pennsylvania welcomes the SW-AA Regional Wrestling Tournament back to the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex on Friday and Saturday, February 21–22. Over 2,300 wrestlers and spectators are expected to fill the Kovalchick Complex, area hotels, and restaurants.
