Social Equity and Title IX Events

The impact of excessive discipline in classrooms is long-ranging and deep, especially for students and communities of color. This panel will consider how school policies, the presence of police officers/school resource officers, and white supremacy has led to high and disproportionate rates of suspensions, arrests, and referrals of Black and Brown youth to the legal system.
