Shamsa Anwar is a lecturer in the Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the Altoona College of Pennsylvania State University. In addition, since 2010, she has been serving as a visiting professor in the College of Engineering at Shanghai Normal University, Shanghai, China. Previously, she served as a visiting professor in the IUT, Bethune, France, during May-June 2001 and 2002. Moreover, since 2004 Shamsa has served as a member of the Liberal Arts and General Education Faculty Committee, Excelsior College, New York.
She has co-authored chapters in several books, such as The Handbook of Research on Solar Energy Systems and Technologies. In addition, Shamsa served as a member of the editorial advisory board for the Encyclopedia of Energy Engineering and Technology, published by Taylor and Francis Group/CRC Press in November 2014.
