Decolonial Cuisine - A culinary movement honoring the heritage of
Indigenous America through their foodways and dietary choices. Indigenous
America gave the world 3/5 of the crops now in cultivation including corn,
beans, squash, tomatoes, potatoes, peanuts, chili peppers, chocolate, and
vanilla. Come to The Allenwood in
Ackerman Hall for a special menu each day between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00
p.m., November 12-15. Menu and pricing available at Allenwood-Lunch@iup.edu. This event is
co-sponsored by NAAC and the Department of
Hospitality Management.
November is National Native American
Heritage Month! In celebration, the Native
American Awareness Council (NAAC) will be hosting events of interest
next week, November 12-15. All are open to the entire IUP community.
