Policies about university withdrawal.

Facilitates undergraduate student enrollment at institutions of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to take advantage of courses available across the System.

The reenrollment deadline is one week prior to the start of the semester in which you are applying for readmission.

The university has established this policy that allows students, faculty, staff, and alumni to indicate their preferred first names to the university community, even if they have not legally changed their first name.

Students enrolled at IUP who wish to take coursework at another institution (either during the summer or regular semesters) must complete the proper application prior to taking the course(s).

The Pass Fail Policy gives undergraduate students the option of taking a course for credit but without quality points.

The Grade Appeal Policy provides a mechanism for grade review under conditions associated specifically with discrimination or with capricious evaluation.

Upon readmission, a new cumulative (GPA) is established based on credits and grades earned from the date of readmission.

The final examination week is part of the regular academic program and must be incorporated into each instructor’s course plan for the semester.

Absolutely!1.FERPA is a federal law which protects the confidentiality of students’ educational records.2.You have a responsibility to protect the educational records in your possession.3.If you come across a situation which may be in violation of FERPA, contact your supervisor.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) affords students certain rights with respect to their education records.

An undergraduate student who wishes to schedule 18 or more credits must obtain approval from the dean of the college of the student's major.

The Canceled Semester Policy provides for cancellation from the cumulative record of the effects of one semester below a GPA of 2.00 for the purpose of helping a student improve academic standing.

Students who audit courses have the opportunity to attend classes, but will not receive a grade or credit for the course.
