8.1 During certain times, residence hall lots are needed for students to check in or out during breaks, vacations, etc. Therefore, all employees and students who utilize these facilities must refrain from parking in these lots at those particular times. The lots will be posted twenty-four hours prior to their being used for checking in or out. Some parking areas or parking spaces around residence halls are designated “Fifteen Minute Unloading Zone/Use Flashers.”
8.2 When blocks of spaces are needed for special events, the vice president requesting spaces must give written notification one week in advance to the Parking Services Department.
8.3 The R&P Band Lot will be reserved in the Fall semester for marching band practice beginning at 5:00 p.m. The entire band lot will be open for parking from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The first forty parking spaces will be open to parking after 5:00 p.m. as posted. Parking beyond the 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. posted signs will result in your vehicle's being towed.
