Please note these considerations before using the D2L Pulse App:

The D2L Pulse App (for mobile devices) does not update the Class Progress Tool.

While there are other ways that D2L records interactions with the Pulse App, it does not work the same as when there are regular interactions with D2L via a browser.
How user interactions in the Pulse app with courses and topics are reflected in D2L Brightspace:

When Pulse App users are accessing any course within the app, this interaction is recorded as “Last Accessed.” This can be viewed by accessing the Course, Class List, and Last Accessed, which will display a date/time.

When Pulse app users are tapping/accessing any topic within the app, D2L records this interaction as “Last Visited.” This can be viewed by accessing Course Admin, Content Progress, Content, and Last Visited.
D2L has confirmed that if the above activity causes concern, a user should use the mobile browser to access D2L instead of using the Pulse App. Use of a mobile browser accessing D2L will log activity the exact same way as someone that uses a computer browser.
