Teaching Opportunity in Italy: Call for Proposals

IUP is seeking proposals for a faculty-leader to teach a three-credit course in Florence, Italy, in summer 2017. This faculty-leader will be responsible for designing an IUP-approved undergraduate course to teach while on-site in Italy.

Grants Available to Teach Abroad in Spain

To join the North American Language and Culture Assistants in Spain program, college students and recent graduates must submit their applications on line by March 30, 2010. The program is an academic “continuing education” grant provided by the Ministry of Education of Spain.

2010 Spring Foreign Film and Music Series Schedule Announced

The Office of International Education is pleased to announce the 2010 IUP Foreign Film and Music Series. The Indiana Theater (637 Philadelphia Street) will host the series scheduled on six Sundays during Spring 2010. All films and musical performances are FREE and open to the public.

Health Insurance Policy Change Affecting International Students

As a result of a recent policy change, international students will no longer be billed for medical health insurance or asked to show proof of insurance waivers. They will automatically be billed for a Repatriation/Evacuation Fee.
