It’s On Us Presentation

HUB Ohio Room

The Haven Project and Phi Sigma Kappa invite everyone to an It’s On Us presentation.

The It’s On Us movement is centered around raising awareness and fighting against sexual assault on college campuses. The campaign urges everyone to step away from the sidelines and be an active part of the solution.

Join us to learn more about the National Campaign that encourages us to be better bystanders and teaches us about power-based violence, sexual violence prevention, and more. It's on us IUP logo

Statistic: One in 5 female-identifying and one in 14 male-identifying students across the US will be sexually assaulted during their time in college. Rates are higher for students of color, LGBTQIAA students, low-income students, and students with disabilities. —

It’s On Us, IUP to make campus safer for everyone.

The Haven Project and the Fashion Merchandising Program are partnering together to set up the What Were You Wearing Exhibit. Anonymous survivor stories from the IUP community will be on display all week in the Stapleton Library.  What Were You Wearing Campaign- Blue Hoodie and a Boot

“What were you wearing?” is an all-too-common question asked of survivors of sexual assault. This question is rooted in victim-blaming. This exhibit aims to dispel the myth that survivors provoke their assault due to how they were dressed. Stop by to experience this powerful and emotional display.

Content Warning: Stories include descriptions of gender-based personal violence, which may be upsetting to some.
