Take Back the Night is an annual event that raises awareness, empowers individuals, and inspires action that will bring an end to sexual violence.

The evening will include guest speakers Tracey Vitchers from It’s On Us and Denise Pearson, vice chancellor of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

Zoom ID:  931 4827 3565

According to Take Back the Night.org:

  • One in three women worldwide experience some form of sexual violence or intimate partner violence.
  • One in six men experience sexual violence.
  • Less than 50 percent of victims report these crimes.

The IUP Haven Project is the department on campus that assists students with the issues of sexual violence, domestic/dating violence, and stalking. We educate the campus community on these issues by providing educational programming and awareness campaigns and events.

If you or someone you know has been affected by these issues, resources are available to help.
