Culinary students attend computer, business, and math classes in the Living and Learning Center on the IUP at Punxsutawney campus.This facility includes multimedia classrooms, a library, a bookstore, a fitness center, and a dining facility. Suite-style on-campus living is available in the Living Center for forty culinary students. Culinary majors take kitchen lab classes in the 13,000-square-foot academy building dedicated to first-year culinary education. The Fairman Centre is IUP’s newest culinary facility. This beautifully renovated historic building features two culinary teaching kitchens specially designed for baking and pastry and advanced garde manger instruction.
Multimedia-ready classrooms and a demonstration theatre provide ample space for class lectures and guest presentations. And, last but not least, residential suites for twenty culinary students provide comfortable university housing on the top floor.
