IUP is a smart choice. You bring the energy and determination. We provide what you need to exceed your goals.
You can choose from more than 140 majors, taught by professors who are invested in you. Out of the classroom, enjoy the Oak Grove and our suite-style residence halls. Take part in some of the many student activities we offer or join one of our more than 200 student organizations.
IUP consistently ranks as an excellent value in cost and quality of education. Add in your financial aid and scholarships, and your costs could be lower than you might expect.
Estimate your cost to attend IUP, including tuition, fees, and room and board.
*Tuition and fees are based on 15 credits per semester.
†Room and board amounts are based on the most common room (the two-person shared semi-suite) and the most popular meal plan (14 meals/week and $300 Flex). Amounts vary according to the other housing and meal plan options available.
Residence Hall life has it all. You’re close to your classes, to shows on campus, to sporting events, to campus dining options, and to the fitness and health facilities. Best of all, you are part of a residence hall initiative—Living and Learning Communities—that brings you together with students with similar academic interests to get more involved and more informed. You’ll also enjoy activities planned for your floor by your residence hall assistant, a student you can turn to if you have any questions about college life or resources you need.
Visit and you’ll be surprised by how new our residence and dining facilities are. Rates listed are per person per semester for the 2019–20 academic year. Cook Honors College students should see information on Whitmyre Hall or contact the Honors College if you have questions.
*75F is for off-campus students only. It is not available to resident students.
