IUP students welcoming you to the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement

Elkin Hall, renowned for its vibrant student life, is home to pivotal figures like the executive director of Student Inclusion (Roger Briscoe II) and the director of Multicultural Student Support and Programming (Leslie Coates). Here, student life thrives through a rich tapestry of inclusive initiatives and support systems.

The director of Student Inclusion spearheads efforts to foster a welcoming environment for all students, ensuring equity and diversity are celebrated. Meanwhile, the director of Multicultural Student Support and Programming coordinates a myriad of activities that promote cultural understanding and engagement, empowering students from diverse backgrounds to thrive academically and socially. Together, their leadership cultivates an inclusive campus community where every student feels valued and supported.

Between the director of Student Inclusion and the director of Multicultural Student Support and Programming, just a few of the services Elkin provides are leadership development, cultural events and programs, support and advocacy, LGBTQIA+ support, engagement opportunities, an inclusive environment, and so much more.

By participating in Elkin events, students can enrich their college experience, develop important life skills, and contribute to a diverse and vibrant campus community. Check out our Instagram to see podcasts, Events of the Week, and other great posts!
