The deadline to register for the Census is today, October 15. If you have not done so, you should register for the Census.

Building Bridges This Thursday: Systemic Racism, the Pandemic, and My College Experience

Join MCSLE this Thursday, October 1, for our Building Bridges series from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. “Systemic Racism, the Pandemic, and My College Experience” will be presented by Brenda Dede, former Pennsylvania Black Conference on Higher Education president and retired associate vice president for Academic Affairs at Clarion University.

MCSLE invites the IUP community, on-campus and remote, to share their culture in photos in the #MCSLECultureChallenge. Culture is “the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group.” What does culture look like for you and your identity groups? Justin has a unique perspective on what life as an IUP student is like, what has changed since he has been on campus, and the work we still have left to do.

Register to Vote at MCSLE Meet-Up This Friday

MCSLE will continue its weekly tradition of playing games and hanging out, but we will also provide information about voting this Friday, September 18, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. in Folger Hall.

Make Sure You Count Yourself in the 2020 Census!

Like on-campus college students, off-campus students should count themselves at the place where they live most of the time. For most students, this is Indiana, Pennsylvania. All housemates and roommates living in a shared apartment need to be included—and if you haven’t already responded, now is the time to do so!
