2026-27 Strategic Priorities

Professionals looking to strengthen their workplace effectiveness and advance their careers have a new opportunity to develop the skills employers value most. The Workplace Essentials Certificate program, a new noncredit training initiative, launched its first cohort in May 2026.

Ten students at Indiana University of Pennsylvania completed a unique service-learning project at the Navajo Nation in Arizona as part of an anthropology class taught by Abigail Adams and Amanda Poole.

The 52 students selected for the 2026 Undergraduate Summer Opportunities for Applying Research (U-SOAR) will present their original research projects during the U-SOAR Research Symposium on August 19 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Sutton Hall’s Blue Room.

New AI language has been added to the IT Acceptable Use Policy, Information Protection Policy, and Data Classification Policy, complementing existing expectations in the Academic Integrity Policy.

IUP and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College have developed a unique partnership to offer an opportunity for eligible students to earn three college degrees in five years. The Triple Degree Program offers students an associate, a bachelor’s, and a master’s degree through seamless pathways and taking advantage of accelerated admission to both the bachelor’s and master’s programs.
