IUP Department of Public Safety is aware of a shooting on Saturday, Oct. 8 around 11:00 p.m. at the Carriage House complex near campus. The injured person is not a student.

On January 31, 2016, between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., an IUP student walking along Oakland Avenue in the vicinity of Grant Street reported being robbed by a subject only described as having a male voice.

Police are looking for three male suspects, wearing dark hoodies. The incident took place about 9:15 p.m. on November 13, 2015.

IUP Police Department has been made aware of several crime incidents involving thefts and an attempted robbery that appear to be related. All incidents took place on campus on October 4, 2015 between approximately 2:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'7" to 5'9" in height, weighing 170–80 lbs., clean shaven, and was last seen wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt with white lettering and blue jeans.The attempted armed robbery took place at approximately 1:00 a.m. The suspect was reported to have been armed with a knife during the robbery attempt.

Indiana Borough Police are investigating a homicide that occurred inIndiana Borough at a residence on Diamond Avenue (between Sixth andSeventh streets). Update: the suspect was taken into custody without incident.

A shooting occurred early Thursday morning. The victim, a student, was shot in the leg and transported to the hospital. Update, January 31, 2014: State Police have a suspect from Indiana County in custody and have charged him with attempted murder and other charges related to this crime.
