Winter Storm Warning Issued for Wednesday; Heavy Snow Expected

A winter storm warning has been issued for Indiana County from 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, to 7:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16. Heavy snow accumulations of 7–12 inches are expected. Travel could be very difficult, with hazardous conditions affecting both the evening commute Wednesday and the morning commute Thursday.

Fall 2020 Semester Parking Information

Full parking enforcement will begin on August 24, 2020, for the start of the fall semester. Valid parking permits must be clearly displayed while parking in commuter, faculty, and staff designated parking lots on the IUP campus.

Temporary University Drive Traffic Restrictions

University Drive will be temporarily closed to through traffic on Saturday, July 4, 2020, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition, access to South Campus athletic facilities will be restricted at this time.

Parking Garage Temporarily Closed for Annual Cleaning and Maintenance

The IUP Parking Garage will be temporarily closed for beginning on Monday, June 29. The garage is scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 20.

Parking and Transportation Services COVID-19 Notice

Due to the unique challenges posed by the COVID-19 virus, beginning Monday, March 23, and continuing until further notice, the IUP Office of Parking and Transportation Services will be closed for over-the-counter transactions.

Reminder: Full Parking Enforcement Now in Effect

Valid parking permits must be clearly displayed while parking in commuter, faculty, and staff designated parking lots on the campus. When parked in a pay-by-space area you must pay in advance for the time you will be parked.

Coronavirus 2019-nCoV: What You Should Know

There are 11 total confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the US, but none in Pennsylvania. IUP has banned travel to China for official university business. Take precautions if you feel sick.
