The Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement is a campus gathering space and resource/programming center, providing students from a diverse set of backgrounds a place to meet and socialize. Our dedicated space for student organizations and up-to-date collaboration areas provide a great place to meet and study.
The Center provides a variety of multicultural programs and student events, from leadership opportunities to fraternity and sorority life, including ways for all students to get involved on campus.
Please note that none of MCSLE’s regularly scheduled events are happening during the week of Spring Break (March 14–18), with the exception of the Red Cross Blood Drive on March 18.

This office helps organizations, offices, and individuals requesting use of outdoor space understand if there are costs involved in their space request outside normal business hours.

You're heading into Finals Week and doing your best—to complete those last homework assignments, study for finals, and finish semester projects. We believe in you and want to support you, so we've brought together the Finals Week hours for study spaces like the library and Folger, tutoring schedules, dining schedules, and /de-stressing activities.
On Wednesday, November 3, the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement welcomed guest presenter Cory Shay, director of the IUP Military and Veteran’s Resource Center, for a presentation on the Tuskegee Airmen.
IUP students won’t want to miss this unique opportunity to personally connect with Black alumni from the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh areas, building relationships with potential mentors in various fields. The events are hosted by the Black Experience Alumni Committee.
IUP Votes will hold an event outside of Zink Hall on Election Day—Tuesday, November 2—to encourage students to vote. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Stop by on the Zink Hall lawn from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for hot chocolate, coffee, and appetizers, plus games and merch.
