Various Student Activities on IUP Day

IUP Day and Winter Warm-Up allow students to explore ways of getting involved at IUP.

IUP Day and Winter Warm-Up showcase IUP's recognized campus organizations. In recent history, both events have been held in the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, respectively. Students attending the event are able to engage with organizations through conversation, activities, and other small events. In previous years, events have included a fencing display by the IUP Fencing Club, a cornhole tournament with members of the fraternity community, and a step show organized by the members of Alpha Phi Alpha.

Additionally, both experiences allow for recognized student organizations to increase awareness of its mission and potentially its membership base. As a result, students gain a clear sense of the IUP community and the opportunities available through the recognized campus organizations, clubs, and activities.

Winter Warm-Up is being planned by a group of students from across the university. Together, they are planning activities, music, giveaways, food, entertainment, and more. Recognized organizations can register for the event through the Crimson Connect page.
