Election Day Bash: Get Out the Vote!

IUP Votes will hold an event outside of Zink Hall on Election Day—Tuesday, November 2—to encourage students to vote. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Stop by on the Zink Hall lawn from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for hot chocolate, coffee, and appetizers, plus games and merch. 

MCSLE Meet-Ups Welcome Student Group Sponsors

The Center for Multicultural Student Leadership and Engagement manages the Meet-Ups, which take place every Friday from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. in the Folger Student Center. This is an excellent opportunity to share information about your group, meet new students, and support fun activities at IUP.

LGBTQIA Flag Symbolizes IUP’s Support

When LGBTQIA+ students said flying a rainbow flag can help more students feel included on campus, IUP responded. The new flag and pole, located just south of Elkin Hall’s Great Room, will be formally dedicated Tuesday, October 12, at noon. Learn how support for LGBTQIA+ students at IUP goes well beyond raising a flag.

Founding Fathers Foster Discourse at Six O'Clock Series

For 15 years, Gwendolyn Torges has created something uniquely special at IUP. Unlike many other universities that recognize the federally mandated recognition of the US Constitution with uninspired library displays, Torges decided to use the platform of the Six O’Clock Series to bring the founders of our country to life.

MCSLE Staff Raises LGBTQIA Flag in Partnership with It's On Us Grant

On Friday, August 27, MCSLE staff members stood at the new flag pole in front of Elkin Hall and held a ceremony to raise the inclusive rainbow flag in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.
