Assistantships
The Department of Counseling typically offers several 10-hour graduate assistantships (GA; 10 hours/week of assistantship service) and a minimal number of 20-hour assistantships (20 hours/week of assistantship service) each year. Part-time students are eligible to apply for 10-hour/week assistantships, and full-time students are eligible to apply for 10- and/or 20-hour/week assistantships. Assistantships provide a stipend and partial funding toward tuition and are contracted for one academic year (fall-spring semester). Applications from current students and GAs will be due each year on February 1. Applications from new students for master's-level GA positions will be due each year on February 15.
