Overview: Cynthia Mellen, CSP, ALCM, from the PA OSHA Consultation Program, will host the webinar. This webinar was developed to explain the purpose of the Periodic Inspection that is a required component of OSHA’s Lockout Tagout Standard 29 CFR 1910.147
Ms. Mellen is a Certified Safety Professional and has been a Safety & Occupational Health Specialist with the Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation Program at IUP since 1994. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/ Chemistry from Albright College and a Master of Science in Safety from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Before coming to IUP, Ms. Mellen served as a senior loss control consultant with both Florist’s Mutual Insurance and Kemper National Insurance.
