Free Yoga and Meditation Sessions

Join us in the HUB Susquehanna/Allegheny Room on Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. during the spring semester for free yoga and meditation sessions.

Please join us for enhancing your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being through a unique combination of yogic exercises, covering the four body systems. Each session consists of:

  • 10-20 minutes: Laughter/Hasya Yoga for emotional body
  • 20 minutes: Physical/Hatha Yoga for physical body
  • 5 minutes: Breathing/Pranayam Yoga for mental/intellectual body
  • 20 minutes: Meditation/Dhyana Yoga for spiritual body

The mission of the Ascension Meditation and Yoga Association (AMYA) is to promote meditation, yoga, and discussion for spiritual growth and stress management. Membership in this organization is open to all members of the IUP community, IUP retirees, and the Indiana community.
