Why Your Review is Required

As a public university, we are required to meet the regulations set in Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act. This covers digital content, including webpages and files available on the site. 

To ensure that content on the site meets these regulations, we're conducting a review, followed by remediation and updates as needed.

Goals of the Review

  • Consolidate and streamline content (and webpages) so students and visitors find information faster.
  • Reduce overall PDFs in favor of accessible, web‑native formats (HTML pages, embedded web forms, SoftDocs, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA; PDF/UA) for any PDFs we must keep.
  • Focus resources on pages that matter most and remove abandoned or duplicative content.

Your input determines what to keep, consolidate, convert, or retire. The digital team will implement approved changes based on your decisions and justifications.
