Michelle Tweardy is an assistant professor in the Department of Career and Wellness Education.
Responsibilities and Achievements
Michelle Tweardy serves as the program coordinator and student teacher supervisor for the Family and Consumer Sciences Education program and the field resource person for the Center for Career and Technical Personnel Preparation. She is the current president of the Pennsylvania Association of Family and Consumer Sciences and post-secondary representative on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
Michelle holds certifications in pK-12 Family and Consumer Sciences and AAFCS Family and Consumer Sciences. She also coordinates professional development activities and mentoring programs for family and consumer sciences educators and career and technical education instructors.
