We recommend that guests arrive early, before the ceremony, to allow for adequate travel time from parking areas to the Commencement ceremony location.
Please allow enough time to find parking. Review the parking maps below for the recommended parking lots for each ceremony.
Parking instructions are different for the 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. ceremonies and for the 1:00 p.m. ceremony.
Shuttle bus transportation is available only for the 1:00 ceremony.

8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Ceremonies
Parking instructions for the 8:30 a.m. (College of Education and Human Services and Eberly College of Business) and 5:00 p.m. (College of Arts, Humanities, Media, and Public Affairs and Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics) ceremonies.
Graduates and families attending the 8:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. ceremonies will park in the Stadium South Lot or the additional parking lot options… (expand for more)

If you use the Stadium South Lot, you must enter via the traffic light at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Pratt Drive.

11th Street and Pratt Drive southbound traffic will be closed off at Maple Street.

1:00 p.m. Ceremony
Parking instructions for the 1:00 p.m. university ceremony (College of Health Sciences and University College).
For the ceremony starting at 1:00 p.m., there will be no parking, including ADA parking, at the KCAC.
All parking for the 1:00 p.m. ceremony will be located at the Robertshaw East paved parking lot and the South Campus Parking Lot… (expand for more)
Patrons parking at these locations for the 1:00 p.m. ceremony will be transported by shuttle buses to the KCAC. ADA parking will be provided in the Robertshaw paved parking lot, in the ADA and reserved spaces section, adjacent to South 13th Street.
The shuttles will be on a continuous loop. The first shuttles will depart the parking lots at 11:45 a.m. after the morning commencement ceremony, and the last shuttle will depart at 4:00 p.m. See the map of Commencement Shuttle Routes.
If using GPS to attend Commencement, please do not use the address for the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

To access the South Campus Parking Lot, please use Rose Street, turn onto Kolter Drive, and then onto University Drive. The South Campus Parking Lot will be located on your left.

ADA parking will be provided in the Robertshaw paved parking lot, in the ADA and reserved spaces section adjacent to South 13th Street. These spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The shuttle bus pickup location for the Robertshaw Lot will be at the entrance to the IUP Criminal Justice Training Center.

After the Ceremony
Upon exiting the stadium lot:

If you exit via 11th Street, you can only make a left-hand turn onto Maple Street (towards Oakland Avenue).

If you exit via Pratt Drive, you can only turn right onto Maple Street (towards Wayne Avenue).
Expect increased traffic on Wayne Avenue and Maple Street. Local traffic is encouraged to avoid this area and find alternative routes.
