Normally, there are separate ceremonies for undergraduate and graduate students at both Spring and Winter Commencement.
Yes. Students must complete and submit the Commencement Line-up Card on their MyIUP home page to participate in the May or December commencement ceremonies. This ensures your name is pronounced properly when being called on stage and that the photographers have a non-IUP email address to send a link for ordering commencement photos. You must first apply for graduation (see How do I apply for graduation?). An overnight process needs to occur after applying before you will be able to complete the Commencement Line-up Card.
Each undergraduate student eligible for graduation is guaranteed up to six main arena tickets. Tickets are free. Only undergraduate students who have applied for graduation and who have completed the Commencement Line-up Card will be able to claim their tickets.
The graduate commencement ceremony is not a ticketed event.
All others are encouraged to watch via live stream. Visit the tickets page to find details on ticketing and distribution.
