Focus 2 can help students complete a career assessment and work through a reliable, intuitive career and education decision-making model to help them choose majors offered, explore occupations, and make informed career decisions.
To Acess Focus 2:
In the current MyIUP portal, my.iup.edu:
- Sign in to MyIUP and log in with your username and network password.
- In the "Jobs and Careers" section, click on Focus 2 major and career exploration/planning.
In the new MyIUP portal:
- Log in to MyIUP. Go to Discover and search for "job."
- On the Career and Professional Development Center card, click on Focus 2: Major and Career Planning.
“What Can I Do with This Major?”
This database provides information on over 100 majors, detailing what kind of jobs/careers are open to people with that major.
