Employers often ask us how they can increase their visibility with students and support the Career and Professional Development Center's efforts. As a result, we created sponsorship programs that provide an organization with connections to IUP students and a closer working relationship with the Career and Professional Development Center. Shown below are ways that organizations can partner with our office.

For more information regarding other ways to sponsor events, contact either Kelsey Thompson, associate director (kthomps@iup.edu), Jeremy Risinger, assistant director for Employer Engagement (jrising@iup.edu), or call 724-357-2235.

Career Ready Seminar Series Sponsorship

Opportunities for students and employers alike to learn, network, and connect.

Program Overview:

This series will encompass five to seven different programs every fall and spring for all IUP students to attend. Each event will touch upon various career competencies, as outlined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), that students should achieve to make the most successful transition from higher education into the professional world of work.

Following these events, we are hosting a 30-minute networking reception.  We invite you to co-sponsor one or more of these programs and have the chance to engage in meaningful conversations with our student attendees. Employer representatives will also have the chance to provide a brief overview of their organization/company and the opportunities they can provide to IUP students. These programs will be open to all IUP students; however, we are targeting specific student groups and organizations as well.
