The following event was held on April 3, 2019, 3:30-5:00 p.m. in the HUB Allegheny Room:

Small Steps for Big Impact in Online Courses

In this year's final Reflective Practice Large Group meeting, members of the Online Teaching and Learning Teaching Circle shared best practices in online teaching that were simple to implement yet have big impact on student learning and engagement. Panelists Veronica Paz (Accounting), Mary Stewart (English), and Carrie Bishop (Library) gave examples of how they have made small changes in course planning, communication techniques, and assignment design to improve the online experience for students and themselves. Presenters allowed ample time for interaction and discussion so participants could share their own experiences and/or ask questions.
