Monday, October 30, 2017, 3:30-5:00 p.m., Location: HUB, Allegheny Room

During this 90 minute seminar, a panel discussion involving all participants was conducted to identify important factors for faculty members addressing perspective students and their parents about the university, the college, and the department. Additionally, best practices for advising and classroom activities were discussed as they relate to enrollment management and first year retention. Direct participation in these discussions from all in attendance will be invaluable. The attendees reflected about and shared what led to their selection of a university for both undergraduate studies and graduate studies, as well as identified specific in and out of classroom activities that enhanced their academic experiences.
