Speech and Hearing Screenings for Education Majors
The College of Education and Communications requires that all education majors have a speech, language, and hearing screening for admission to the teacher certification program.
The IUP Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic offers several walk-in clinics each semester for students to have their speech, language, and hearing screening completed. This screening is a required test that determines if speech, language, and hearing are within normal parameters for performing the duties of a teacher.
